About NPS

The Society was founded in 1891 by a small group of Nottingham gentlemen. Since then it has established a justifiable reputation for the quality of both its fisheries and its membership. All new members have to be elected to the Society by a vote at one of the monthly meetings where the Society's business is conducted - by the membership.
